Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Servicevid, LLC ("Servicevid", "we") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our service. We try to keep this short and readable.

1. What we collect

  • Account information — email address, password hash, and contractor/business details you enter during onboarding (company name, phone, service area, services offered).
  • Job content — photos and audio narration you upload, plus the generated scripts, voiceovers, and videos derived from them.
  • Billing information — handled by Stripe; we don’t store full payment card numbers. We retain Stripe customer and subscription IDs.
  • Usage information — basic logs of requests to the Service (timestamp, route, status) for operations and abuse prevention. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
  • Cookies — strictly-necessary session cookies for authentication. No third-party tracking cookies.

2. How we use it

  • To deliver the Service: store and process your photos, run AI vision/script/voice generation, render videos, host your widget pages.
  • To handle billing and send service emails (receipts, invite links, password resets, important account notices).
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To detect and prevent abuse or security incidents.
  • To improve the Service in aggregate — we do not sell your data and do not use customer content to train third-party models beyond the per-request processing required to deliver output.

3. Sub-processors

To run the Service we share necessary data with these providers, each under their own privacy and security commitments:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, file storage.
  • Railway — application hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Anthropic — AI vision analysis and script generation.
  • ElevenLabs — voice synthesis.
  • ZapCap — caption generation.
  • OpenAI — embeddings for widget search.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Upload Post / Meta — optional social posting on your behalf, only if you connect your accounts.

4. Data retention

Job content (photos, audio, generated videos) is retained while your account is active. Account and billing records are retained as needed for our legal and tax obligations. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your rights

You can:

  • Access and update most account information from your dashboard.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated content by emailing hello@servicevid.com.
  • Cancel your subscription anytime from billing settings.

Residents of California, the EU/UK, and other jurisdictions may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, objection). Email us and we’ll honor reasonable requests.

6. Security

Connections to the Service are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Customer content is stored in access-controlled object storage. No system is perfectly secure — if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.

7. International data transfers

Our infrastructure and sub-processors operate primarily in the United States. By using the Service, you understand your data may be processed in the U.S.

8. Children

Servicevid is intended for businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date above will change to reflect updates. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice.
